Harbor Pacific Contractors was formed in 1987 by Nick De Vitis to offer professional construction services to a variety of clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Company has experienced steady growth over the past fifteen years by delivering on its commitment of excellence in construction management and customer satisfaction.

Our core business is in the area of engineering related construction - primarily the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, industrial manufacturing facilities, and high technology and environmental related projects.

Most of our work is performed as a General Contractor on "fixed price" basis for projects that have a completed design. We can also perform work on a design/build or "turnkey" basis when client needs dictate that a project must start prior to completion of all design and engineering.

Many of the projects Harbor Pacific has been hired to complete have presented challenges to conventional construction methodologies due to poor soils conditions, deep excavations and extensive site dewatering. Often projects have difficult construction schedules requiring innovative construction techniques. We can find solutions!

Harbor Pacific itself performs most of the work on its industrial projects where we directly employ skilled carpenters, millwrights, laborers, pipe layers, operators, plumbers and pipefitters. We generally perform our own earthwork, site utilities, structural concrete, carpentry, process equipment installation, process pipe installation and facilities start-up and testing. We subcontract specialty trades work such as architectural finishes, electrical and controls.
