Bellevue Pump Station - King County Department of Natural Resources

Construction, final testing and commissioning of the temporary pump station is now complete. The temporary station allows incoming flows to bypass the permanent pump station while it undergoes a major upgrade which includes new sewage pumps, discharge piping and forcemain, electrical, controls and a new odor control system.

The permanent pump station is anticipated to go on-line in August of 2010.

Port Pedestrian Bridge to Airport Station - Port of Seattle

Pedestrian Bridge Structure in Place

The pedestrian bridge structure steel was erected on the ground adjacent to its final location between the Sound Transit Airport Station and the Port of Seattle parking garage. The complete bridge structure was set in place using a 550 ton crane. Work continues on the concrete deck, electrical and mechanical systems, finish painting, roofing and architectural features.

The bridge is scheduled to open in
mid December 2009.
