Issaquah Salmon Hatchery

The existing main hatchery building, originally built in the 1930s by the Federal Government's newly created Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), was completely renovated. A new Watershed Sciences Building was constructed to provide an education center for the study of salmon. A new rearing pond with four channels was constructed complete with new mechanical piping and equipment. Site improvements included extensive landscaping, irrigation, and concrete walkways.
