Renovation and Expansion of the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife's
Issaquah Salmon Hatchery
Renovated the existing hatchery building which was originally built in the 1930's by the
Federal government's newly created CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps). A new Watershed
Sciences Building was constructed to provide an education center for the study of
salmon. A new rearing pond with four channels was constructed complete with new
mechanical piping and equipment. Finally, extensive landscaping, irrigation and concrete
walkways were installed.
