Harbor Pacific Contractors has completed a new cogeneration power plant for King County's South Treatment Plant. The plant will generate both steam and electricity from methane gas - a byproduct of the wastewater treatment process.
 
The electricity will be sold to Puget Sound Energy and the steam will be used for heating in the plant.
